I got my first web gig at Ziff Davis' 1UP property (a dream come true — I read the company's Electronic Gaming Monthly magazine growing up) and did everything from coding to content management, asset creation to production. I even wrote a couple reviews! After changing hands with a few media companies, 1UP ultimatley folded in 2013.
